Mathematics Placement Page
In order to meet the prerequisite of an OCC course in
Mathematics, students must have previously taken an OCC MAT course, or
taken the Mathematics
Assessment Test or have their transcripts examined by the Mathematics
Department Placement Coordinator(s). The job of the of the Coordinator
is to clear a student's ability to meet the prerequisite of an OCC MAT
course. Current Mathematics Assessment Coordinator(s) and their hours
of availability can be found under the following links.
Fill out the online form
to indicate which OCC
MAT classes you are interested in taking. Then, fax your transcripts
and other supporting documentation to 847-635-1691.
Please note that your prerequisite clearance for a given
OCC MAT course does not imply that you are registered for that course.
You may need to perform other activities for registration. You will
be contacted via email or telephone regarding the status of your clearance.
