NUR 262 7:5:6 NCLEX Review (Remedial) This course covers a review of basic professional nursing practice for the graduate nurse or nursing stuent preparing for the NCLEX. It provides both didactic and clinical experience to meet state requirements. Knowledge of professional nursing practice is assumed and necessary to be successful in the course. This course will satisfy the requirements for a remedial course described by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Student may repeat the NUR 262 one time. Prerequisite: A graduate nurse or nursing student preparing for the NCLEX (National Council Licensure Exam). NUR 263 7:5:6 NCLEX Review (CGFNS) This course covers a review of basic professional nursing practice for the graduate of a foreign nursing program. It provides both didactic and clinical experience to meet state requirements. Knowledge of professional nursing practice is assumed and necessary to be successful in the course. This course will satisfy the requirements for a remedial course described by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Student may repeat the NUR 263 one time. Prerequisite: A graduate nurse of a foreign nursing program who is preparing for the CGFNS (Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools) exam in order to become eligible for the NCLEX (National Council Licensure Exam). Student must achieve 47 or higher on DRP (Degrees of Reading Power). EGL 089 is strongly recommeded.
