Criteria for admission to Honors at Oakton:

• A student with a GPA of 3.5 or better for 12 or more credits of college course work at the 100-level can be admitted to the Honors Program.
  
  
• A student with an ACT of 25, an SAT of 1200, or graduation in the top 20% of the high school class may also be admitted to Honors.
  
  
• A student with fewer than 12 credit hours or who has a GPA between 3.25-3.5 must also submit a recommendation from an instructor.
