Scholarships

The
Harry S. Truman Scholarship
Foundation awards up to eighty merit-based scholarships
each year to college juniors planning to pursue careers in government
or public service. The recipient must have government or public
service experience, possess a desire to influence public policy,
demonstrate leadership ability, and wish to attend graduate school.
The $30,000 scholarship awards $3,000 for costs toward the senior
year of college and $27,000 toward graduate school.
The Barry M. Goldwater
Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program awards up
to three hundred scholarships to full-time sophomore or junior students
planning to pursue careers as natural scientists, mathematicians,
or engineers. Scholarship recipients are awarded up to $7,500 toward
the cost of tuition, fees, books and room and board.
