Automotive Service Excellence

Designed for automobile mechanics already working in the trade, the automotive service excellence curriculum enables mechanics to upgrade their skills and prepare for certification examinations offered by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. Oakton awards a certificate of proficiency to students who successfully complete the four-course program.

Classes begin for summer 2014 seven-week session.

Four-week first summer interim faculty grading due.

Last day to submit proof of residency, business service agreements and chargebacks/joint agreements.

Last day to change to Audit.

Last day to drop and have course dropped from record.

July 3
Last day for filing Graduation Petitions.

July 7
Independence Day holiday observance, no classes. College open.

July 8
Last day to withdraw with a "W" (no withdrawals after mid-term) Students will receive a grade in all courses in which they are enrolled after July 8.

July 24
Incomplete (I) grades from spring 2014 semester for which faculty have not submitted final grades will become an "F" after this date.*
