Biology

Biology

Students studying the biological sciences at Oakton work closely with faculty. Small classes ensure personal attention, and for those who qualify, an undergraduate research program provides added value to the curriculum. Technologically advanced laboratories at both the Des Plaines and Skokie campuses further enrich the learning experience at Oakton.

Courses can lead to an associate’s degree in science, or fulfill the requirements for such health career programs as health information technology, medical laboratory technology, nursing, and physical therapist assistant.

For more information, contact Michael Carr, department chair, at 847.376.7046 or mcarr@oakton.edu.
