Theater

Theater

Theater draws upon the rich variety of the human experience and communicates the drama of life - past, present, and future. With immediacy, exhilaration, and eloquence, theater has the capacity to take audiences to places real and imagined. Therefore, students of theater must study the human condition and understand how social forces affect individual behavior.

Our vibrant theater program is renowned for training students in all areas of performance by offering a strong curriculum and production program. Students may begin their training through a variety of courses that immediately place students in front of audiences including, Fundamentals of Acting, Stage Movement, and Intermediate Acting. Students also may choose to seek knowledge from behind the scenes in such courses as Stagecraft I, Stage Lighting, and Directing. All offerings lead to a student's involvement in producing a first-rate play or musical from start to finish.

Our exceptionally dedicated and highly competent theater faculty and staff is committed to supporting student success every step of the way in his or her theater pursuits. We provide the best possible environment in which to grow as an actor, director, stagehand, or any role vital to communicating the drama, irony, struggles and joys of the world around us.

I would be more than happy to elaborate on the benefits of joining our theater family. Please let me know how I may assist you.
