With more than 1,000 course offerings and events each term, Oakton Community College's Alliance for Lifelong Learning enables adult learners to further their education in the arts, communication, computers, Continuing Education for Healthcare Professionals, ESL, GED, job development, literacy, politics, real estate, and more. From non-credit career enhancement to creative arts to personal enrichment courses, Oakton's Alliance for Lifelong Learning has something for everyone.

Students 17 or older wanting GED test preparation classes in April must attend two evenings of placement testing, counseling and registration in March.

This five-part Jewish Literature series focuses on the theme, Between Two Worlds: Stories of Estrangement and Homecoming. Classes consist of readings, lectures, and engaging group discussions. Five Wednesdays, January to May. Free admission, but advance registration is required.
