2nd Annual Conference for Promoting STEM (CoPS) for high school and community college faculty will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008 at Oakton Community College's Ray Hartstein Campus. Registration deadline has been extended to Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2008. APEX Scholars - Scholarship for academically talented STEM students with financial need. Most scholarship money has been awarded this year, but some is still available because a few eligible candidates have not submitted their letter of recommendation. Contact Gloria Liu (847-635-1738, glorial@oakton.edu) to determine if all of your scholarship application documents have been submitted. Call Oakton's Office of Student Financial Assistance (847) 635-1708 to determine if the office has received all of your FAFSA documents. Submit all required documents as soon as possible!
