- Coed dorms (usually men and women on alternate floors) have
been a reality on many residential campuses since the early
seventies. Some college administrators have begun to question
whether there should be a return to the old system of men
and women students in different residential buildings. Write
an essay in which you try to convince college students that
coed dorms are or are not a good idea.
- In America, pets are often treated as human beings. There
are, for example, pet cemeteries, pet psychologists, and pet
medical insurance. Some people disagree with this treatment
of animals; others agree with it. Write an essay in which
you convince other Oakton students that animals should or
should not be treated as human beings
