THE TWELFTH ANNUAL

MEN’S

DAY

Session II
1:45 a.m. - 3 p.m.

HEALING THE FATHER WOUND
Gregory Baldauf. The heart of men’s work is healing the relationship with one’s father. Whether he was absent, distant, or uninvolved, resolving these issues is the key to healing old wounds, growing as a human being, and becoming a father yourself.

HONORING OUR FATHERS, BLESSING OUR SONS
Joe Kilikevice.
Fathers, both good and bad, are part of our male lineage, and to honor them is to become honorable ourselves. To reach into the future and bless our sons and the sons of other men is to welcome them into this lineage. Rituals of passage, initiation, and blessing will be considered and briefly experienced in this workshop.

THE MEN’S ART FORUM: OUR ARTISTIC SELVES IN ADULTHOOD
Andy Mitran and Dick Levon.
Learn how to build a safe container in which to explore your personal exposure and connection to art. Experience the wisdom of a “circle of men,” speaking honestly about the important elements of their creative lives.

THE WISDOM YEARS
Alan Levin and Phil Metres.
Designed for men who have turned 50 and are seeking greater fulfillment in the second half of their lives—the “wisdom years.” This program provides a safe and supportive environment where men can explore issues such as friendship, self-awareness, connecting with others, loss, sexuality, aging, and death.

MAKE PEACE WITH YOUR INNER TEEN: BECOMING A TRUE ADULT
Gary McCabe.
Do you fight with authority figures, resist rules and discipline, or jump too quickly into relationships? For most of us, adolescent habits don’t end with our teenage years; instead, we drag them with us into adulthood. Discover how your “inner teen” can become a positive force in your life, rather than a disruption.

THE POWER OF THE ENNEAGRAM
Michael Maloney.
The Enneagram is an ancient personality theory that helps us to better understand our interpersonal relationships. In this workshop we will expose our compulsive behaviors, and learn how to break free of them.

RETIREMENT: REWARD OR PUNISHMENT?
Chuck Marcus.
Even if retirement is years away, it’s never too early to develop a plan for how to spend your increased leisure time. Most men retire with no clue as to what will make their retirement fulfilling. Let a life coach help you explore the possibilities.

MALE MEDITATION WORKSHOP
Richard Popp.
Learn how to energetically release stress, daily pressures, and other people’s expectations, so that you may begin to physically enjoy life as a man.
