The Second
City, known around the world as a launching pad for comedy's biggest
stars, will perform a "best of" collection of sketches, songs, and
improvisations Saturday, Sept. 18, at Oakton Community College, 1600
E. Golf Road.
Two performances
are scheduled, at 6 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $18 for general admission;
$15 for students and seniors; and $13 for group sales of 15 or more.

Comic
legends including Bill Murray and Mike Myers launched their careers
at Second City. Established in 1959 in Chicago, Second City also has
original comedy revues in Toronto, Las Vegas, and Detroit, and touring
companies that perform at venues worldwide.
