Oakton Offers Computer Networking Courses
Take the mystery out of computer networking in this class offered by the Alliance for Lifelong Learning at Oakton Community College.
Networking Essentials (CPT A41) demonstrates the basics of electronic data communications with emphasis on creating a local area network (LAN). This course also introduces terminology and concepts of electronic communication systems.
Two seven-week sessions are available starting June 13. Networking Essentials is available 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie, and 6 - 9:50 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, at Oakton's Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road. Course fee is $265.
