Cross
Country Barbeque Road Trip (HEC E28-01) allows participants
to experience the differences between the barbeque styles of Kansas
City, Memphis, and the Carolinas. Learn tips from an expert. Classes
meet at the Backyard Barbeque Store, 1147 Greenleaf Ave., Wilmette.
Kansas City Barbeque meets 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21; Memphis
Barbeque meets 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday, March 20; and Carolina Barbeque
meets 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday, April 17. The discount cost of this series
is $130. Individual courses are $49.
Cooking
Around the World (HEC C26-01) demonstrates the preparation
of delicious dishes from faraway lands. Students receive recipes,
bibliographies, and recommended local restaurants and grocery stores.
Four-week course meets 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, at Maine East
High School, 2601 Dempster St., Park Ridge. Course fee is $90.
Other

to Edward Hopper (ART 109-01), Greener Household Cleaners (ORN E98-01),
and The Big Bands Live: Radio, Television, and Movies (HUM C53-01).
