CSI
- The Real Thing (SCI E41-01) is for those who have wondered
how real crime scene investigations are conducted. Actual cases will
be discussed. Class involves discussions of graphic topics and adult
themes. Two-week course meets Tuesdays, 7 - 9 p.m., starting Oct.
10, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
Course fee is $39.
Simple
Ways to Greatly Increase the Value of Your Real Estate (REL
S03-01) explores value-enhancing techniques for your home. Session
meets 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Glenbrook South High School,
4000 W. Lake Ave., Glenview. Course fee is $19.
Kitchen
Remodeling (TEC E88-01) provides valuable tips for any kitchen
renovation project by an experienced professional. Session meets 7
- 10 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Glenbrook South High School. Course
fee is $25.
Street
Smarts for Women (REC E94-01) builds confidence by demonstrating
various self-protection skills. Course is taught by a police officer.
Session meets 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Oakton's Ray
Hartstein Campus. Course fee is $25.
