Enroll in Oakton Continuing Education Courses
Enroll now in continuing education classes offered by the Alliance for Lifelong Learning at Oakton Community College. Featured courses meet at various locations.
Concepts of Floral Design (ART D27-01) shows participants how to create beautiful flower arrangements for home or office. Six-week course meets 7 - 8:30 p.m., Monday, starting March 17, at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines. A materials fee of $15 per week is due to the instructor at the first class session. Course fee is $90.
Sing, Sing, Sing - Creative Vocal Coaching (MUS S25-02) offers techniques to create your own vocal style. Eight-session course begins Monday, March 17, at Oakton's Des Plaines campus. Students arrange private lesson time with the instructor. Course fee is $180.
Clarity Living: Living Out Your Life Purpose (HEA C06-02) offers direction to those unsure of what life course to follow. Five-week course meets 7 - 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, starting March 18, at Glenbrook South High School, 4000 W. Lake Ave., Glenview. Course fee is $99.
Other available courses include: How to Select a Financial Planner (FIN E32-01), Screenwriting for Beginners (ART D18-01), and Mind Your Memory (HEA E95-02).
