Registration is now open for fall courses in construction, technology,
financial services, marketing, management, and electronics.

of these featured courses meet at Oakton's Des Plaines campus, 1600
E. Golf Road.
CISCO
Networking Basics Competencies (INT A01-01) introduces networking
and general network concepts. Seventeen-week class meets Tuesdays,
9 - 11:50 a.m., starting Aug. 23. Course fee is $316.
Residential
Wiring (ECT A15-01) provides the technical skills needed to safely
install, maintain, replace, and repair residential wiring according
to the National Electrical Code. Fourteen-week course meets Mondays,
6 - 9:55 p.m., starting Sept. 12. Course fee is $247.
Effective
Organizational Leadership (MAN A15-01) provides an understanding
of how effective leadership skills contribute to organizational effectiveness.
Seven-week course meets Tuesdays, 6:30 - 10 p.m., starting Sept. 13.
Course fee is $207.
Securities
Trading (FIN A02-01) explores the fundamentals of the securities
markets, the economic role of securities trading, and rules that govern
trading and regulatory agencies. Fourteen-week course meets 7 - 10:15
p.m., Wednesdays, starting Sept. 14. Course fee is $207.
Other
job development classes include: Introduction to Air Conditioning
and Refrigeration (AIR A06-01), Construction, Bidding, Contracts
and Liability (CON A01-01), Basic AutoCAD 2004/2005 (DES
A03-01), Boiler Operation and Care (FAC A23-01), and Principles
