Import Export Now (BUS A28-330) is an online course that offers insight from an international trade expert into the steps needed to trade worldwide. Course requires Internet access using Internet Explorer or Firefox Web browser. Nine-week course meets 8 – 10 a.m., Wednesday, starting June 24. Course fee is $95.
Become Your Own Home Designer (HEC B36-31) covers interior design fundamentals. Students are asked to bring a notebook or drawing pad, pen, pencil, colored markers or pastels, and photos of the interior spaces to be transformed. Six-week course meets 7 – 8:30 p.m., Thursday, starting June 25, at Oakton’s Skokie campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave. Course fee is $99.
Silver Metal Clay: Small Sculpture Techniques (ART F06-31) teaches how to create small sculpture and mixed-media projects using .999 fine silver. Four-week course meets 7 – 9 p.m., Tuesday, starting June 30, at Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave., Evanston. Course fee is $159.
Joshua Bell (MUS C45-31) presents the life, times, and music of the contemporary classical violinist. Two-week course meets 7 – 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, starting July 1, at the Glencoe Park District, 999 Green Bay Road, Glencoe. Course fee is $39.
