Windows
XP: The New Windows Experience (DPR A23-331) teaches the basic
skills of Windows XP including working with texts, pictures, photos,
sound, music, DVD, and interactive TV and video. Course requirements
include Windows XP, E-mail, Internet access, and Netscape or Internet
Explorer Web browser. Course fee is $69.
Stocks,
Bonds, and Investing (FIN E10-331) is designed to help you prepare
for the future by making wise investment decisions and better managing
personal finances. Students also learn financial market jargon and
how the market operates. Course requirements include e-mail, Internet
access, and Netscape or Internet Explorer Web browser. Course fee
is $69.
Creating
Web Pages (HTML) (DPR A78-331) teaches the fundamentals of Web
design including building links between pages, and adding color, backgrounds,
graphics, animation, and tables. Course requirements include e-mail,
Internet access, and Netscape or Internet Explorer Web browser. Course
fee is $69.
To take
online classes at Oakton, students need an e-mail address and Internet
access (Netscape or Internet Explorer Web browser). Students enrolled
in online classes must attend a mandatory online course instruction
by June 16 at http://www.ed2go.com/oakton.all.
Students
who have registered for ALL classes within the last five years, or
for a credit course in the last three years, may register by using
