Pick Up Tech Tips at Oakton

Learn helpful technology tips by enrolling in single-session classes offered by the Alliance for Lifelong Learning at Oakton Community College.

Decipher Your Digital Camera (ART C79-01) helps you get the most out of your digital camera. The course meets 7 - 9 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $29.

Tips and Tricks for Microsoft Office (DPR E97-01) offers a quick review of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and FrontPage. Course meets 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 7, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $29.

Home Networking (DPR E96-01) shows how to connect your Windows home computers to each other - and the Internet - using one broadband connection. The seminar meets 1 - 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17, at the Ray Hartstein Campus. Course fee is $39.
