Ballet for Fun, Fitness, and Grace (PED B08-02) introduces this elegant dance form without putting stress on joints and ligaments. No experience is necessary. Students must wear comfortable clothing and supply their own leather ballet shoes. Eight-week course meets 5 – 6 p.m., Thursday, starting March 5, at the North Shore Senior Center, 161 Northfield Road, Northfield. Course fee is $146.
Travel Tips (REC E40-01) provides domestic and international travel advice from an instructor with more than 20 years of travel agency experience. Two-week course meets 7 – 9 p.m., Thursday, starting March 5, at Glenbrook South High School, 4000 W. Lake Ave., Glenview. Course fee is $25.
Digital Photography (ART C04-02) shows how to get the most out of your digital camera. Course also teaches students how to work with software to manipulate and improve digital images. Two-week course meets 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, starting March 9, at Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave., Evanston. Course fee is $50.
Six Retirement Planning Topics for the Baby Boomer Generation (FIN E36-01) covers key areas that can significantly impact one’s retirement years. Course is taught by a certified financial planner. Class meets 7 – 8:30 p.m., Monday, March 9, at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $20.
