Pet
First Aid (REC S19-01) provides a review of information that
may save your pet's life, including how to perform CPR. One-week session
meets 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Saturday, March 10, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein
Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $25.
Using
the Internet to Teach and Save Time (TCR A01-300) is an online
course designed to help teachers use online resources more effectively
in the classroom. E-mail and access to an Internet Web browser, including
Netscape, Internet Explorer, or AOL, are required. Course provides
recertification credits (10 CPDUs) and runs from Thursday, March 15
to Thursday, April 26. Students must register by March 2. Course fee
is $50.
Quick
Fixes for Your PC (BZM B11-01) shows how to keep your computer
safe from viruses, spyware, and identity theft. One-week course meets
6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Thursday, March 15, at Oakton's Des Plaines campus,
1600 E. Golf Road. Course fee is $19.
