Broaden
your photography skills and gain experience taking pictures on location
by enrolling in two Oakton Community College field study courses.
The
Architecture and Cemeteries of New Orleans: A Photographic Journey
(ART 290-1D1) gives film and digital photography students a chance
to document historic locations of the "Crescent City," including the
French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Interested students must attend
one of two free information sessions, either at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb.
20, or 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25. Class will travel to New Orleans May
21 - 29.
Photographing
Around Chicago (ART 290-1D6) offers students the opportunity for
an extended photographic documentation of "the city of broad shoulders."
Interested students must attend one of two free information sessions,
either at 7 p.m., Friday, March 4, or 3 p.m., Sunday, March 6. Course
runs from June 6 through July 28.
