Oakton Stages 'BFE' at Both Campuses
The Performing Arts at Oakton presents a staged reading of BFE, a play by Julia Cho, at 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, and 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
BFE looks in on the life of 14-year-old Panny, who is trying to survive her own suburban adolescence while living with a slightly skewed family. Then, a wrong number leads to a telephone friendship that could be the connection she's been missing.
