Learn
about artists who showed that age is no barrier to creativity by enrolling
in an Emeritus Program class at Oakton Community College.
The
Sunset Years of Great Artists (ART C09-61) examines the work
of artists, including Michelangelo, Grandma Moses, and Picasso, who
created some of their best work in their twilight years. One-week
session meets 1 - 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein
Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $20.
Oakton's
Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars,
and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences
with peers age 50 and over.
