Oakton Tour Examines Chicago Art Work

Discover the lost art of Chicago on a tour and lecture offered by the Oakton Community College Emeritus Program.

Chicago's Sculpture and Murals With Tour (SOC S64-71) explores the city's less familiar works of public art, including stained class windows, newly restored fountains, and grand murals in churches and lobbies. The lecture is from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, April 23, at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave, Skokie. The tour is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 30. The fee for the lecture and tour is $40. A cafeteria-style lunch at Manny's Coffee Shop and Deli is not included in the registration fee.
