Timelines
of World History (HIS C05-93) is a condensed survey of 6,000
years of world history, from Biblical times to the present day. Course
also highlights 25 people who most influenced our civilization. Five-week
course meets Tuesday, 1 - 2:30 p.m., starting July 3, at Classic Residence
by Hyatt, 2500 Indigo Lane, Glenview. Course fee is $60.
Theater
of the Absurd: When Did We Lose Our Way? (HUM C16-91) takes
on the major playwrights whose plays depart from realistic characters
and situations - Samuel Beckett, Harold Pinter, David Mamet, and Edward
Albee. Four-week course meets Thursday, 1 - 3 p.m., starting July
5, at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course
fee is $50.
