Oakton Emeritus Offers Literary Discussion Groups

Join a weekly discussion group about a classic periodical that has engaged Americans since 1925 by enrolling in classes offered by the Emeritus Program at Oakton Community College.

The New Yorker (HUM E93-62) analyzes favorite selections from the sophisticated magazine, The New Yorker. A subscription to The New Yorker is required. Six-week class meets Mondays, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., starting Nov. 6, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $50.

Oakton's Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars, and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences with peers age 50 and over.
