Emeritus Program Spotlights Roman Empire

Enjoy learning about ancient history in this featured Emeritus Program class at Oakton Community College.

Tacitus: The Annals of Imperial Rome (HIS C29-91) examines the reigns of Roman Empire emperors Tiberius, Claudius, and Nero through the perspective of historian Cornelius Tacitus. Four-week course meets Thursdays, 10 - 11:30 a.m., starting Aug. 10, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $50.

Oakton's Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars, and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences with peers age 50 and over.
