Learning
to Draw Portraits (ART C63-91) develops composition skills using
basic drawing media. Six-week class meets 12:30 - 3:30 p.m., Mondays,
starting June 13, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln
Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $100.
Drawing/Watercolor
(ART C19-91) demonstrates new drawing and watercolor techniques.
Six-week seminar meets 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Mondays, starting June 13,
at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus. Course fee is $90.
Tai
Chi (PED E30-91) demonstrates an ancient form of exercise to reduce
stress and connect the mind with the body. Eight-week course meets
12 - 1 p.m., Mondays, starting June 13, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein
Campus. Course fee is $96.
Beginning
Bridge (REC S60-91) teaches the basics of this popular card game.
Eight-week course meets 3 - 5 p.m., Mondays, starting June 13, at
Temple Judea Mizpah, 8610 Niles Center Road, Skokie. Course fee is
$190.

summer Emeritus classes include: Advanced Tai Chi (PED E31-91),
Bridge: A Bidding Practicum (REC E91-91), and Bridge: Declarer
and Defender Play Practicum (REC E91-92).
Oakton's
Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars,
and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences
with peers age 50 and over.
