Computer Maintenance 101 (DPR F01-91) teaches computer
troubleshooting techniques. Single-week course meets 10 a.m. –
12 p.m., Monday, July 14, at Oakton’s Skokie campus, 7701 N.
Lincoln Ave. Course fee is $20.
What Is a Masterpiece? (ART D08-91) presents the
concepts behind paintings, sculpture, and architecture that are regarded
as works of art. Students are encouraged to suggest their own examples.
Single-session course meets 1 – 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 16,
at Oakton’s Skokie campus. Course fee is $20.
The Four Great Romantic Violin Concertos (MUS E11-92)
provides insight into the lives and music of Beethoven, Mendelssohn,
Brahms, and Tchaikovsky. Four-week course meets 1 – 2:30 p.m.,
Wednesday, starting July 16, at Covenant Village, 2625 Techny Road,
Northbrook. Course fee is $60.
