Program at Oakton Community College. Featured courses meet at Oakton's

Sketching
and Watercolor (ART D07-71) is for anyone who likes to draw
and wishes to improve their technique. All skill levels are welcome.
Eight-week course meets 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Friday, starting March
21. Course fee is $90.
Puccini's
Women (MUS C28-71) focuses on memorable female characters
in the life and operas of Puccini. Enjoy excerpts from La Boheme,
Madama Butterfly, and Turandot. Eight-week course
meets 1 - 2:30 p.m., Friday, starting March 21. Course fee is $100.
The
New Yorker (HUM E93-71) analyzes favorite selections
from the sophisticated magazine established in 1925. A subscription
is required. Six-week course meets 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Monday, starting
March 24. Course fee is $60.
Europe,
1919 - 1939: Origins of World War II (HIS T90-71) examines
the rise of fascism and emergence of the "Red Menace." Three-week
course meets 2:30 - 4 p.m., Thursday, starting March 27. Course fee
is $40.
