Develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills with English as a Second Language (ESL) classes offered by Oakton's Alliance for Lifelong Learning (ALL). Featured classes meet at Congregation B'nai Emunah, 9131 Niles Center, Skokie. All July classes offer morning and evening sessions, and require preregistration in person on Thursday, July 8.Conversation II (COM A22) helps students with basic conversational skills to use them more effectively. The six-week class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning July 10. The course fee is $70. Conversational English Practice (COM A50) allows intermediate-level students to further develop their skills. The seven-week class meets on Tuesdays, beginning July 15. The course fee is $50.
Other ESL courses offered during the summer 2003 term include Conversation I (COM A21) and Practical Reading and Writing Skills (COM A53).
