Journey to Southeast Asia on Oakton Tour

Visit Southeast Asia on a two-week travel/study tour sponsored by Oakton Community College. A trip is scheduled to depart in November.

This exciting journey showcases the history, culture, and artistic treasures of Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. View the exquisite Khmer and Hindu art located in the Angkor temples. Learn about the conservation efforts in Angkor during a special session with a member of the World Monument Fund. Enjoy a guided tour of Vietnam's capital Ho Chi Minh City and visit historic city landmarks.

An optional excursion to the countryside of Kanchanaburi, made famous in the film Bridge over the River Kwai, is available at an extra cost.
