Oakton Sports Teams Reload
Three athletes have signed letters of intent to attend Oakton Community College this fall.
The baseball team added two new recruits, outfielder Alex De La Rosa of Skokie, and shortstop Ryan Tuntland of Des Plaines. De La Rosa, a transfer from Creighton University, is a graduate of Loyola Academy; Tuntland is a graduate of Maine West High School.
Ryan Lynn from Maine South High School committed to compete for Oakton’s cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams for 2009-2010. Lynn won an Illinois High School Association 3A state championship in the 800-meter run on May 30. He secured the state championship for Maine South with a time of 1:51.13.
