"down under" on a study/travel tour sponsored by Oakton Community
College. One Australia trip is slated for 2004, Oct. 3 - 20; three
more adventures are planned for 2005: Jan. 23 - Feb. 9, May 15 - June
1, and Oct. 2 - 19.
From
Outback settlers to the Aborigines, learn about the development of
the world's largest island and smallest continent. Marvel at Australia's
ecological wonders, from tropical rain forests and the Great Barrier
Reef, to the flora and fauna of the arid "Red Center." Visitors also
will experience contemporary urban Australia, including the financial
center of Melbourne and Sydney, which offers breathtaking sites such
as Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
