Oakton Stages Neil LaBute's 'Bash' at Both Campuses

The Performing Arts at Oakton production of "Bash," by Neil LaBute, will be presented in a staged reading at 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18, at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, and 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.

This trio of one-act plays showcases LaBute's raw, lyrical intensity while presenting the dark side of society. Medea Redux describes a woman's tragic relationship with a grade school English teacher; Iphigenia in Orem tells the story of man who confesses to a heinous crime; and a young couple remembers a violent anniversary weekend in A Gaggle of Saints.

All tickets are $8. To reserve tickets, call the Oakton Box Office at 847-635-1900.
