Audition for Staged Reading 'BFE' at Oakton
Open auditions for the Performing Arts at Oakton production of BFE, by Julia Cho, are scheduled 6 - 9 p.m., Monday, Feb. 5, and Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Oakton Community College's Studio One Theater, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
BFE looks in on the life of 14-year-old Panny, who is trying to survive her own suburban adolescence, living with a family that includes an unbalanced mother and shy uncle. The director is casting men and women of all ages and ethnic groups for this staged reading. Prepared monologues and cold readings will be heard. No appointment necessary.
BFE will be presented 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Des Plaines campus, and 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
