Childcare Enrollment Opens at Oakton
Register now for childcare openings at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines and Skokie. The Early Childhood Education Demonstration Centers at both campuses are now accepting registrations for full-day and part-day programs.
The Oakton Early Childhood Education Demonstration Centers provide:
- Highly qualified, professional teachers and staff; supervision ratios are improved by the regular involvement of college students in related courses;
- State-of-the-art childcare facilities;
- Fun and challenging learning opportunities (language and literacy, photography, computer instruction, intergenerational program, and more).
A limited number of subsidized enrollments are available to income-eligible families. Oakton students may be eligible for Board of Student Affairs scholarships. This program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
