Flood
Conditions Close Des Plaines Campus
Oakton Community College will close its Des Plaines campus at 4 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, to protect its facilities from flood waters from the Des Plaines River, President Margaret Lee announced. The College expects to reopen on Tuesday, June 1, at 7 a.m., following the long Memorial Day weekend.
The Oakton Community College Board of Trustees meeting, set for 8 p.m. tonight at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie, will be held as scheduled.
