Explore Computer Opportunities August 12 at Oakton


Students interested in new courses, certificate programs, internships, and other career opportunities in computer technology are invited to attend a free information session on Tuesday, August 12, at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road. The session begins in Room 1610 at 6:15 p.m., and refreshments will be served.

Representatives from each of Oakton's computer fields, including computer science, computer information systems (CIS), computer office technology (COT), networking (LAN and WAN), and the World Wide Web, will be available to discuss job trends and program requirements. Find out which courses are most useful in preparing for technology's next wave, as well as recent curriculum changes that may reflect industry employment trends.
