Experience
the diversity of Costa Rica on a study tour offered through Oakton
Community College. The final trip in 2007 departs Dec. 7. Tours are
also scheduled in January, February, March, and December 2008.
Enjoy
a special presentation and lecture at the San Jose home of a former
Costa Rican president. Board a "jungle ski lift" and keep a sharp
eye out for exotic life hidden in the rain forest. Travel to San Carlos
and climb Poas Volcano, one of the world's largest craters. In Monteverde,
explore a cloud forest and visit a butterfly garden.
An
optional excursion to Manuel Antonio National Park is available at
an extra cost. Additional "budget" learning vacations to Costa Rica
also are available.
