Tired of being a wallflower at weddings and parties because you don't know how to dance? Enroll in one of the following non-credit courses offered by Oakton Alliance for Lifelong Learning (ALL) and you'll be "cuttin' a rug" in no time.

Ballroom Dancing I (PED S61-02 Touch-Tone 05705) and Ballroom Dancing II (PED S62-02 Touch-Tone 05546) introduce the basic and more advanced steps, respectively, of the cha cha, fox trot, waltz, rhumba and tango. The beginner course meets from 8:45 - 10 p.m., and the intermediate course meets from 7:30 - 8:45 p.m. on seven Thursdays, beginning April 11, at Glenbrook North High School, 2300 Shermer Rd., Northbrook. Course fee is $72. Couples are preferred.

Swing Dancing (PED E86-02 Touch-Tone 07519) will take you back to the heyday of the big bands. After learning the basics of swing and jitterbug, you'll move on to the walk-over and mooch steps. Class meets from 8 - 8:45 p.m. on six Wednesdays, beginning April 10, at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $42.

I'll Dance At Your Wedding (PED S40-02 Touch-Tone 05866) covers all the post-nuptial favorites: waltz, disco, polka, the chicken and other fun dances. Class meets from 7 - 8 p.m. on six Wednesdays, beginning April 10, at Niles North High School. Course fee is $60.

Latin Line Dancing (PED S67-01 Touch-Tone 06047) introduces the salsa-mambo, meringue, tango and samba dances, as well as the infectious rhythms of Latin American music. Class meets from 7 - 8:30 p.m. on six Mondays, beginning April 1, at Niles North High School. Course fee is $95.
