Joan Richards was appointed to the Oakton Community College Educational Foundation board of directors. Richards, a Roselle native, will help oversee the Foundation's many activities, which include providing community support for the College and its programs.

Richards is employed as a vice president at the Des Plaines-based Wheels Inc.
