Registration
is open for free English as a Second Language (ESL)
classes sponsored by the Illinois Community College Board. Offered
through the Alliance for Lifelong Learning at Oakton Community College,
these classes teach listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
to adults 16 years and older.
Day
and evening classes start the week of Jan. 8. Students must register
in person with proper identification and Social Security number, if
available.
Registration
for evening ESL classes will be held 7- 9:30 p.m.
