An open house for students interested in exploring health career opportunities will be held Thursday, April 3, at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines. Two sessions are available: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 5 - 8 p.m. No registration is required.Professionals from each of Oakton's health career fields, including nursing, basic nursing assistant, physical therapy assistant, and health information technology, will be available to discuss job trends and program requirements. Representatives from Harper Community College, Triton Community College, Midwestern University, and the University of Illinois at Chicago also will be available to answer questions about programs offered through their schools.

Oakton Community College offers degree and certificate curricula for students preparing to earn a bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university, as well as those preparing for employment in a variety of careers.
