Oakton Presents Herzog Marionettes in Skokie

"Zing Went the Strings," a new variety show featuring Dave Herzog's Marionettes, will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at the Ray Hartstein Campus of Oakton Community College, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. This event is co-sponsored by the Family Involvement Group of Oakton's Early Childhood Demonstration Center, along with the Board of Student Affairs.

Highly recommended for children age three and older, Dave Herzog's Marionettes is a professional puppet company dedicated to preserving a uniquely American art form. With 28 years of experience, Herzog performs more than 350 shows a year, and is a popular guest at Chicago's Navy Pier, as well as hundreds of area schools, preschools, libraries, and festivals.

Tickets for "Zing Went the Strings," featuring Dave Herzog's Marionettes at Oakton Community College in Skokie, are $4 each, or $12 for a family of five. Seating is limited, and advance reservations are suggested. To reserve tickets, please call 847-635-1441.
