Journey
to the Holy Land of Israel for an inspirational tour offered by Oakton
Community College. This 10-day vacation is scheduled to depart April
17.
Begin
in Tel Aviv and travel along the Mediterranean coast to the ruins
of the ancient Roman capital, Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in
22 B.C. Travel to Cana, the Biblical wedding site where Jesus performed
the miracle of turning water into wine. Visit Jericho, more than 2,000
years old, which is considered the oldest city on earth. Proceed to
the lowest place on earth, the Dead Sea, and float effortlessly in
its tranquil water. Spend four days touring the sacred city of Jerusalem
before concluding the journey in Jesus' birthplace, Bethlehem.
