Registration is currently underway for the 2002 Summer Golf Clinic for Kids, Oakton's popular instructional courses for children ages 7 - 14. Clinics are offered Monday through Thursday, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. or 10:35 a.m. to 12:05 p.m., at Oakton's Des Plaines campus, located at 1600 E. Golf Rd., and at a local driving range.

Two golf instructors and three assistants will teach the fundamentals of the game, including swing mechanics and golf etiquette. Each child will receive instruction according to his or her ability level, and receive a progress report and take-home-video. The maximum number of students per clinic is 16. Oakton will supply the required equipment. Fees vary according to the number of sessions for which you register. One session costs $90, and two sessions cost $160.
