Oakton Hosts Free 'Kindergarten Night' Feb. 21
Parents of preschoolers are invited to attend a free Kindergarten Information Night sponsored by the Early Childhood Education Center at Oakton Community College, 6:30 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21. The seminar will be held in Room P103 at Oakton's campus located at 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
Those interested in attending are asked to register by Friday, Feb. 12 at 847-635-1441.
Kindergarten Information Night features a panel of teachers from a variety of local schools, and is designed to give parents an overview of what is offered by kindergarten programs. Teachers also will provide tips to help parents prepare their children and themselves for a successful transition from preschool to kindergarten.
